I entered WSG last night to find a game already in progress. Five people were out on the field and the other four were milling around the flag room, directionless. There was no raid, at least not that anyone I spoke to knew about, so I set about creating one (I've come so far, I actually know how to do this now!) and getting everyone into it...but the five out on the field didn't respond.
Fair enough, thought I, they're busy fighting, so I waited until one of them captured the flag, when we'd have a moment's rest. Two of them came back into the flag room and took up defensive positions, the other three stayed outside, along with three of the four other members of my group. I tried messaging the ones in the flag room (especially the priest that kept buffing me), asking them if they would please join the raid or let us into their raid, but no response.
We won, but I was left scratching my head. The five who wouldn't communicate were all members of the same guild, so I'm assuming the behavior was deliberate and that they got some benefit from it, but what exactly did they gain by excluding the rest of us?
