First of all, we need a "girl guilds" tag. :) I remember some discussion a while back about forming another all-girl EU guild, and couldn't find the posts, aside from the attempt to start a DotA guild on one of the EU servers (did that guild fade away? Not much action on their forums).
I have a warlock main in a raiding guild on Aggramar EU, and I also have a few alts that I am putting a lot of effort into. I'd like them to have a shot at MC, etc., but in our guild (like so many), mains do the raiding. Is anyone else interested in trying to form another girl guild on one of the European servers? I would like my alt characters to be able to level with friends, be able to gear up, and to experience some end-game content...I've spent the hours living with them, and it would be nice to have something come of it at the end. I tend to solo a great deal, and it would be a nice change to do that with guildies.
So, anyone else interested in an all-girl, alt-friendly (we recognise that you may have commitments on your main, as well) guild? If this isn't allowed, btw, please delete - I admit that this is guild spam. :)

It would be nice to start an alt on a new fresh server ^-^

I can't really commit to making another alt due to the promise to play my freshly moved character on Moonglade. However like I said if it's on Moonglade sign me up!
(My main chars are on Hellscream Horde side)

Re: Moonglade
I've never played on a RP server. What is it like? I admit that I would feel a bit silly making up a backstory for a character and "acting" that. And how does RP fit in with raiding? I wouldn't want to lose that element of playing, although it's the journey (rather than the end game) that I focus on with my alts. The only servers that I wouldn't want (and couldn't transfer to anyway) are PvP servers - I don't know how people level with being corpse-camped and ganked, and I wouldn't want to find out. ;)
What is Moonglade like? Any thoughts on that?

Re: Moonglade
Well I'm a newbie to Moonglade, but I used to play on an rp server on the US servers and I'll tell you my impression of that.To be honest it really isn't much different from PvE at all, except that should you desire to seek roleplay situations, the option is there.
There are rp heavy, rp lite and even rp free guilds on most rp servers I've encountered.
As for backstory, that can be fun but you know it's not required that you make it up before you make the character, it's not required at all really. However you might have fun thinking up a past for your char as you level it and get attached.
Hope this helps!

Re: Moonglade
Oh also, a lot of guilds on my old server would do special 'rp nights' where anyone who wanted to could participate. You meet up in a nice place (my guild liked stormwind park, near the moonwell) and dress up for the occasion, talk in character, drink lots of ale and generally just have fun together. It really helped bond guildmates in a non raid situation too.August 14 2006, 15:53:04 UTC 5 years ago
