Update Tuesday!

The holiday weekend almost made me forget, but it is in fact Tuesday. Here's your reminder to update your characters on the Community Database.


We extended our ICC-10 lockout to get more shots at it. We're getting a better grip on the fight but we didn't really get him down any further. Our second night not enough people showed up and we had to cancel. :( More on that later though. I didn't make much progress in my achievement goal this week. The only one I got was finally riding a green drake in Occulus for Experienced Drake Rider. 7 to go for the meta.

I did end up getting my rogue to 70 leaving only two Horde characters in the late 60s. I'm going to push my hunter and warlock to 70 soon so I can have all 10 classes on Horde side in Northrend. This shouldn't be too difficult since they're both at 67.

The biggest improvement of the week though, comes from my Druid who in a months time went from newbie 80 to 5100 GS behemoth tank. :P I got super lucky and got the Orca-Hunter's Harpoon out of Heroic HoR on my first try. I ended up buying a bunch of upgrades off of the AH simply because getting a reasonable GS takes forever unless you can get dragged through places, which doesn't generally happen. My work paid off though as after the LK raid last night was cancelled we put together an alt run instead. They let me off-tank and everything was super smooth. We only wiped on Putricide, and part of it was because I had to be the abomination for the first time which was actually good practice because it's my turn to do it in 25-man to charge my Shadow's Edge. *meeps!* We ended up going 8/12 with only 3 mains, one of who was playing offspec, and only in about 3 hours. One of the alts was our guild leader too, so I think I've qualified to get this alt "dragged" through the early 25-man bosses for rep and otherwise-sharded-gear drops. :)
